"Specsavers, the spectacle retailer and optician chain, has
launched an online question-and-answer service for eye health on its
website," according to the
Retail Bulletin. "The company’s interactive Ask the Optician
system enables users to post a question to a qualified optometrist and
receive a response within a few days. Queries are answered by email with
some being selected to be featured in a Q&A library which provides a
bank of detailed responses to previously asked questions."
