New Collection from ProDesign Denmark
"The art of making an acetate frame, can seem to easy at times. Behind
this special collection lies hours of perfecting the pressing and
cutting process," reports Midwest Lens about a line from ProDesign Denmark. "To obtain the 3D effect of the transition between the temple and the
front, the acetate material must be cut very precisely so when you bend
it, the upperside will still look smooth. The temple itself is a study
in cutting and assembling the acetate layers correctly – best seen in
the transparent acetate layer which is added last, but is still a
seamless part of the entire temple. The color combinations range from exclusive and classic to vibrant
and dramatic! Some of these frames are not for the faint hearted! Three
shapes, one of them in two sizes, in six colors each." Read more.
