Optician Creates "Eye-Check" App
"Boots Opticians has launched an Eye Check app which the multiple
hopes will highlight the need for users to have regular eye exams in
practice," says Optometry.co.uk. "The app, which is not intended as a substitute for a professional eye
exam, takes users through four individual easy-to-use eye checks to
help determine visual acuity, astigmatism, duochrome and a colour check.
At each step the app explains what it is looking for and gives users a
pass or fail score, as well as a percentage rating for both the left and
right eye." Read more.
