Shauns Launches Competion for Toms. The Needy Benefit
"Shauns Shades held a launch party at Lux Eyewear
in Palo Alto last weekend, introducing the marketplace to their mission
to help fight visual impairments and blindness around the world," goes the lead of a post on the Examiner. "Since
the company began in August, 2011, Shauns Shades has donated over 5,000
pairs of glasses to those in need. The eyewear company has a simple
motto “Buy One Give Sight.” For every pair of Shauns Shades which are
sold, one pair of eyeglasses is given to a visually impaired person in
