clearance for CooperVision's Avaira Toric 2-week silicone hydrogel
contact lenses for astigmatism," reports

"The lenses are available for select
distribution beginning this month. The company also has made a
2-year commitment to support Optometry Giving Sight as a Platinum Gold
Sponsor. The World Council of Optometry, the International Centre
created Optometry Giving Sight in 2003 for Eyecare Education and the
International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness to mobilize
resources from the global optometric community to fund sustainable
vision care in underserved areas."
