RI Gov Vetoes Vision Insurance Bill

"The governor [of Rhode Island] vetoed a bill that bars insurance companies from requiring optometrists to participate in third-party vision care plans in order to remain on an insurer’s list of providers," according to a post on ProJo. "In his veto message, Chafee said he opposed the bill because it would 'restrict the ability of insurers' to control costs."
