800 Clip-Ons Donated to Humanity Mission

ModernMedicine reports "Live Eyewear has donated more than 800 pairs of polarized clip-ons valued nearly $28,000 to the non-profit group Restoring Vision.org. RestoringVision.org sources reading glasses and sunglasses and supplies them at a nominal charge to groups going on missions to developing countries and domestic groups serving the underprivileged. Since the organization’s inception in late 2003, it has supplied more than 1.2 million pairs of glasses to people around the world. Live Eyewear's sun wear donation will be going on a Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity mission to Guatemala later this year, according to Mark A. Sachs, director of Restoring Vision."
