Golfers Risking Eyes, Says Study

"A recent survey of American adults by N3L Optics found that only 19% of golfers wear sunglasses consistently while they are on the course, putting their eye health at risk," so goes the post on WorldGolf. "The sun's harmful UV radiation can lead to cataracts, macular degeneration and some cancers, nearly all of which are preventable with proper use of sunglasses. N3L Optics®, a sports performance sunglass retailer, also found: Golfers have the lowest rate of sunglass use during their outdoor activity (19%) followed by runners (28%) and cyclists (29%).
