Eight Year Old Battles Acromatopsia

"As she jumps around gleefully on her trampoline, gorgeous Tyla Rich looks like any other carefree eight-year-old child," so begins the WalesOnLine post. "You would never know it from her smiles but Tyla can’t see the green of the grass or the blue of the sky. Instead, she lives in a blurred black and white world where the only colours she recognises are different shades of grey.  Pretty Tyla, fron Kinmel Bay, suffers from a rare condition called acromatopsia, which means that she is registered blind, with only three metres of vision. And whereas we all dream of sunshine in the summer months, Tyla lives in a world where the sun and bright light are her enemy."  Read more.
