"Ryan Perry isn't exactly blind, but the 24-year-old reliever admitted Monday he's pretty darn close, according to a MLive.com post. "Perry is scheduled to visit an eye doctor Thursday and will attempt to wear contact lenses for the first time since infection and inflammation in his left eye required the club to place him on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to April 5. Tigers athletic trainer Kevin Rand said Perry also has a corneal abrasion on his left eye that has prevented him from wearing corrective lenses."
