Wes Gordon announced the development a few days later with the following press release: "Today, women's wear designer Wes Gordon presented his Spring/Summer 2016 collection at Milk Studios, his 5th time showing at New York Fashion Week. The collection, inspired by a modern romantic sensibility, was infused with movement, energy and Victorian detailing, embodying demure strength. The clothes were perfectly complemented by the star accessory: exquisitely detailed sunglasses created in collaboration with Austrian eyewear company Silhouette. This special edition design will be available starting in January 2016 through select retailers and fashion stores worldwide, and will come with a limited edition lens cloth, also designed by Gordon."
