American Optical Services Auctions Off $1.6 Million Worth of Inventory
More than 3,000 pairs of one-of-a kind exotic sunglasses and other eyewear will go on auction starting at the end of the week. The former inventory American Optical Services LLC, which filed for bankruptcy last year, reportedly is valued in excess of $1.6 million. Eyewear by Sama, Cartier, and Luxottica -- previously showcased at AOS' luxury boutiques Bellissimo and MesmerEyes located at Bellagio casino-hotel -- will also be available for sale. Online bidding, which is being conducted by Tiger Group's Remarketing Services Division, opens February 12 at www.SoldTiger.com and will close in rapid succession, live-auction style, on February 19, beginning at 10:30 a.m. (PT).
