Reading glasses: For Spring/Summer 2014, Pierre Cardin showcases a capsule collection specially designed for sophisticated women who always want to look elegant and stylish. The frame features softly rounded lines and is characterized by a slightly elongated oval silhouette. The flex temples are embellished with a metal plaque bearing the Cardin logo. The color palette moves from classic tones of gloss black, cream, brown and blue, to bright shades of cyclamen and red.
Sunglasses: Cardin also has a a new Re-Edit eyewear collection. The new Spring/Summer 2014 sunglasses for women are inspired by the House’s vintage models. The new frame is the utmost expression of the futuristic avant-garde with a blend of geometric shapes and edgy color contrasts. These acetate sunglasses are oversized, square silhouette, combining twisting lines with clean-cut, sharp profiles. The temples are embellished with the sophisticated “PC” monogram, presented in a jewel-like bas-relief.
