Safilo Says Confident It Will Land Deal with Armani

"Italian eyewear maker Safilo has tried to reassure investors that it was confident it could renew its key licence with the Armani group," reports GulfToday. "The Italian No. 2 eyewear maker behind Luxottica said that talks with Armani were ongoing and the outcome uncertain, but it had made a strong offer to try to keep the contract with Armani, a deal analysts estimate contributes around 15 per cent of Safilo’s sales."
