"Italian eyewear maker Safilo has tried to reassure investors that it was
confident it could renew its key licence with the Armani group," reports GulfToday. "The
Italian No. 2 eyewear maker behind Luxottica said that talks with
Armani were ongoing and the outcome uncertain, but it had made a strong
offer to try to keep the contract with Armani, a deal analysts estimate
