Irish Employers Not Complying with Gov't. Standards
"A new survey of businesses across the Republic of Ireland,
commissioned by Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, has revealed that half of
the country’s employers are not complying with basic health and safety
regulations for employee eyecare," according to Business and Leadership. "The survey showed that 49pc of employers are not providing
company-funded eye tests, contrary to the Safety, Health and Welfare at
Work, (General Application) Regulations regarding display screen
