Unilens Vision Inc. is rolling out a disposable C-Vue ADDvantage multifocal for presbyopia contact lens in silicone hydrogel material for monthly replacement. The new product incorporates an aspheric design with a consistent center ADD power across all power ranges and the company's next-generation multifocal contact lens design, reportedly providing a consistent near ADD power across all power profiles. The lens is also thinner and more rounded at the edges, says the company. The new lens is available in a high and low ADD, and in power ranges from +6.00 to -10.00. Unilens Vision Inc. has launched a new silicone hydrogel disposable. It is called C-Vue HydraVUE Multifocal contact lens for monthly replacement, notes a company announcement. The new product aincorporates Unilens' multifocal design technology in a silicone hydrogel material. The lenses, available in high and low ADD power ranges (from +6.00 to -10.00), will come with what the company describes as an attractive and user-friendly display cabinet and trial program with a 120-Day Performance Guarantee on the lenses. Unilens Launches New CL

The company notes that its C-Vue Advanced HydraVue line of silicone hydrogel custom contact lenses will include Toric Multifocal and Multifocal designs, Custom Toric and Single Vision versions.

The company claims that an eye care professional can specify the exact ADD power (for near vision) and zone size.
