Online Retailer Hunts for Model for Its Brand
Online retailer Glasses Direct is looking for the face of its Scout brand of eyewear. The brand is said to boast an eclectic mix of bold and on-trend frames. On 12th June, the virtual retailer will
shoot its Scout campaign and want stylish
people to star in the campaign. It's not looking for the next top
model but for the most individual and fabulous face. To enter, an individual must email scout@glassesdirect.com a picture of him/herself along with a few lines describing her "unique" style. The company's style team reportedly will pamper the winners with an all expenses paid for the
day and a supply of Scout glasses--with a prescription, clear
lens, UV sun lens or all three!

FramesRead more.Case
- Made from metal taken from random recyclable items, Element gives scrap such as bottle cans, used factory equipment and washing machines a new lease of life by melting down the metal and using it to create finely crafted metal frames.
- All Element metal frames have a nickel-free finish and the non-toxic, hypoallergenic acetate frames are made from pre-conconsumer recycled material plastics, meaning that the frames are made with care, durability and quality.
- The Element acetate frames are cut from repurposed acetate plastic, which is created by gathering the scraps from previously cut-out frame fronts and temples, sticking by the mantra 'Waste not, want not'.
- Core made from recycled iron
- Interior is 50% recycled blister material
- Exterior is made from recycled plastic bottles.
