Caribbean ECPs Meet to Come Up with a Strategy to Prevent Avoidable Blindness
"The Caribbean Council for the Blind and the Foundation for Eye Care
in the Caribbean hosted a workshop on Monday in preparation for the
National Eye Health Strategic Framework for Guyana, which is aimed at
preventing avoidable blindness by 2020," reports The Stabroek News. "According to the
Government Information Agency (GINA), the event is in keeping with
Vision 2020: the Right to Sight Global Initiative and it was a
collaborative effort between government, the Pan American Health
Organisation/World Health Organisation (PAHO/WHO) and SightSavers." Read more.
