VSP Chief Talks about Seeing Beyond the Veneer

"When I was 14, I worked on a farm, picking tomatoes. I was paid 50 cents an hour and made enough to buy a pair of skis," goes the New York Times post. "In high school and college, I worked on an ambulance as an Explorer, in the Boy Scouts-affiliated program that links young people to various professional services.
