B+L Rolls Out Ultra CLs with MoistureSeal

Bausch + Lomb is rolling-out its monthly Ultra contact lens with MoistureSeal. The new lens technology, which developed over seven years, combines what a B+L spokesperson calls a breakthrough material with new manufacturing processes to produce a contact lens that breaks the cycle of discomfort. The company introduced the new lenses at a training program, where eye care professionals learned about the CL. Bausch + Lomb received FDA marketing clearance for the lenses September 2013.
