"Shansel Cheghe of Hillsborough, a student in Raritan Valley Community College’s Ophthalmic Science program, has received a $500 grant as part of the 2012 Hoya Vision Care Grant and Scholarship Program for Opticianry Schools," reports the
Star-Ledger. "Cheghe received the scholarship for her ePoster project on polarized lenses. The presentation focused on the importance of wearing polarized lenses or sunglasses, including their uses and functions, as well as the benefits and effects on one’s vision—both positive and negative."
