"Jacksonville manufacturer Vistakon Inc. expects to start construction
to expand its Southside distribution center this fall, a company
spokeswoman said Friday," reports the
Jacksonville Business Journal. "Vistakon is expanding its distribution center from its current
661,174 square-foot building to 765,401 square feet, an addition of
104,227 square feet.
The company needs additional capacity, said Betsy McNiel, manager of
global relations and public relations for Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:
JNJ) Vision Care. Construction is expected to finish by the first
quarter of 2014.
