CooperVision's 1200 Rochester-area employees and
representatives from the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired
(ABVI) recently gathered at the Rochester
Convention Center. irIt was there that CooperVision's employees gave the charity $30,000. ABVI will use the donation to "'empower people with significant vision loss to see and do great things. Webelieve
that people who are blind or visually impaired can contribute to their
families and communities in meaningful ways,'" according to A. Gidget Hopf,
the president and chief executive officer of ABVI.
