VSP Mobile Clinic Helps after Tornado


"VSP Vision Care last week deployed a state-of-the-art 45-foot mobile eye exam clinic to the tornado ravaged areas of Tuscaloosa, Ala. to provide no-cost comprehensive eye exams and eyewear to the families and children in need, according to a company press release," according to the website PConSuperSite. "The mobile eye clinic, created in partnership with Transitions Optical, offers a state-of-the-art exam room, dispensary and in-office finishing lab allowing glasses to be made on-site. The University of Alabama School of Optometry (UAB) has also provided portable ophthalmic equipment for multiple patients to be seen at once, the release said." Read more.
